Two teenagers were charged with carjacking a man in the Loop Wednesday.
The teens, a boy and girl, both 17, are charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking. The boy also was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and criminal damage to government property costing less than $500, Chicago police said.
The teens were arrested in the first block of West Randolph Street about 15 minutes after a 56-year-old man was carjacked in the first block of West Monroe Street around 4 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
A weapon was found on the boy, officials said.
