Two 17-year-old boys were wounded in a shooting in Washington Park Sunday afternoon, Chicago police said.
The boys were in an alley along the 5900 block of South Michigan Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. when the shooting took place, police said.
The first victim was shot in the hand and the second victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, according to police.
The first boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital while the second was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
Both boys were reported in good condition.
Area detectives are investigating.
