Four people were shot and killed overnight in Chicago, according to Chicago police.
A 35-year-old man was outside in the 4200 block of West Cermak Road in North Lawndale around midnight when an unknown person shot him in the chest and fled. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No one has been arrested, according to police.
An hour later in Englewood, two men were outside in the 1400 block of West 65th Street when someone inside a light-colored sedan fired several shots at them. One of the men, 30, was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The second man, 32, is in serious condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center. No one has been arrested, according to police.
A 38-year-old woman was in the 1300 block of West 13th Street in Little Italy with another person when they started arguing. The other person pulled out a gun about 3:40 a.m. and shot the woman in the chest then fled. The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Police say no one has been arrested.
At around the same time in the Garfield Park neighborhood, another woman was arguing with an unknown man when he shot her several times in the body and her head in the 3800 block of West Harrison Street. He fled in a silver SUV. She was taken to Stroger, where she was pronounced dead. No one has been arrested, according to police.
