Traffic was getting by on one shoulder after a collision on the Edens Expressway that left three people injured early Monday in Northbrook.
Around 4:50 a.m., state troopers responded to the outbound lanes near Dundee Road for a crash involving two vehicles, Illinois state police said.
Three people were hospitalized with injuries, officials said.
Outbound lanes were shut down with traffic getting by on the shoulder as of 7 a.m., state police said.
No further information was immediately available.
