Anna Paulina Luna Yells at Congressmen, “Stop Molesting the Staff! Freaks”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna

Members of Congress are reacting to revelations about U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) and reports that the congressman pressured an aide working on his 2020 campaign to share lewd photos of herself with him. Gonzales previously admitted to an affair with a different aide who later took her own life.

In the wake of the new report, MAGA-aligned U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) complained on social media Monday night: “I’m about to do a conference all-call to explain to members on both sides that it is illegal to sexually harass staff and interns. You all need to pull your [expletive] together. Stop molesting the staff! Freaks.”

Many of Luna’s followers urged her to “name names” regarding those in Congress who have been accused of or sued for sexual misconduct and/or harassment — and who settled with their accusers out of a so-called “hush slush fund.”

As one replied to Luna: “Release the hush slush fund then. You want to be hall monitor for the freak show that is Congress? Name names and haul them off the Hill. Otherwise, you’re just as nasty since you choose to work with these pervs, and hosting a “conference call” to be used for your re-election ain’t gonna cut it with Americans. That freaking ship sailed long ago.”

[NOTE: The so-called hush slush fund refers to funds appropriated by Congress and administered by the taxpayer-funded Office of Congressional Workplace Rights, which pays settlements for workplace safety and pay disputes and also for sexual harassment claims. Congressman Nick Langworthy (R-NY) was among just 65 House members who voted recently to release the names of any member of Congress who has used the “hush slush” funds to settle a suit. Langworthy’s press release said, “Congress has reportedly paid out more than $17 million taxpayer dollars to quietly settle the cases.”]

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) also voiced her disapproval of Gonzales and added: “Why are predators protected and always allowed to stay in power? Last month, we forced a vote to publicly release Congressional sexual harassment records. 357 members from both parties killed it. They chose the cover-up over the victims. The American people deserve to know what’s happening in the halls of Congress on their dime. Nobody in Congress should get to play by a different set of rules. Americans deserve better.”

Many on X drew a line between the hush slush vote and the toothless investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. As one replied to Luna: “Why would they stop when y’all have demonstrated with the Epstein Files that there are no consequences?!?”
