A bicyclist died after being hit by a car Friday afternoon in Bridgeport, police said.
A man riding a bicycle was hit by a vehicle in traffic around 4:40 p.m. while in the 3200 block of South Halsted Street, Chicago police said.
The man, 35, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Major Accident Investigation Unit (MAIU) is investigating.
