SUNLAND — The Los Angeles Police Department launched an investigation Tuesday after a body was discovered inside a trash can in Sunland.
Officers responded to the 8500 block of Wentworth Street around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a body inside a sealed trash can, according to an LAPD spokesman.
Further details about the body’s discovery were not released.
The area was blocked off and traffic was diverted during the investigation.
