Caleb Williams, USC football begin 2023 season vs. San Jose State

Quarterback Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans will open the 2023 football season with three straight home games, including the nonconference opener against San Jose State on Aug. 26.

The Trojans will open the Pac-12 schedule against three teams that hired new head coaches this off-season.

USC will begin conference play against a Troy Taylor-led Stanford team on Sept. 9.

USC will take its first of two bye weeks before traveling to play against coach Kenny Dillingham’s Arizona State Sun Devils and coach Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

Williams and Coach Lincoln Riley will have to lead the Trojans through back-to-back games at Notre Dame and at home against Utah.
