Chicago police on Friday released video footage showing two suspects wanted in the deadly shooting of man who was found inside a car with a small child last year in South Shore.
Police are seeking to identify the two males suspected of shooting the 35-year-old man in the 2000 block of East 79th St. on June 7, 2025.
That evening, officers found the man slumped inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the right arm, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
A 4-year-old boy who was also inside the car was unharmed, police said.
The suspects, both described as Black males, were captured on home-surveillance cameras before and after the shooting, police said.
One of the suspects is shown wearing a black and gray hooded sweater with a red shirt and dark pants, police said. The other was wearing a black hooded sweater and ripped jeans.
