Interstate 70 eastbound reopens near Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel after closing for crash

Interstate 70 eastbound reopened near the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel after closing because of a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The road closed at 10:46 a.m. between exit 205, U.S. 6; CO 9; Silverthorne and exit 216, U.S. 6; Loveland Pass, eight miles east of Silverthorne, because of a crash at mile point 216 and traffic was held at the tunnel.

The road reopened at 11:02 a.m.
