Police are looking for a man suspected of following a woman home from a gym and sexually assaulting her in Valley Village.
The man followed the woman from a Planet Fitness on July 19 around 8:30 p.m., KTLA reported. On Friday, police would not confirm the gym or its address. They said he approached the woman from behind and “forcefully removed her underwear.” He then penetrated her with a foreign object, authorities said.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the man, who they say is believed to be 6 feet tall, with brown eyes and “bushy” black hair and “a large build,” and last seen wearing a tan long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and brown or black boots. He was described as White or Hispanic.
