An orange Honda SUV is being sought after a fatal hit-and-run late Tuesday on the Southwest Side.
The victim, an unidentified 53-year-old man, was changing a tire on an SUV in the 6800 block of South Pulaski Road around 11:10 p.m. when an orange Honda SUV northbound on Pulaski slammed into him and left the scene, Chicago police and a source said.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The vehicle fled north on Pulaski Road and its driver has not been arrested, officials said.
Major Accident Detectives are investigating.
