A man was shot and killed during a home invasion in Belmont Cragin early Saturday, police said.
The man, 60, was inside an apartment in the 3000 block of North Lotus Avenue around 5:20 a.m. when someone entered the back door and fired shots, according to Chicago police.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene and the gunman fled.
No other injuries were reported and detectives are investigating.
