A male victim was found fatally shot in the South Deering neighborhood early Sunday, Chicago police said.
The victim was found around 4:30 a.m. at 12600 S. Carondolet Ave. Police say a witness saw a car flee the scene. The victim’s name and age have not been released.
He had suffered gunshot wounds to his head and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not announced any arrests.
