A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in an alley behind his apartment building in Northridge over the weekend and police were searching for a suspect, authorities said on Monday, June 29.
The shooting occurred in the 19100 block of Bryant Street about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, June 28, and left Pedro Devora dead, Los Angeles police said.
Officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
A fight occurred shortly before the shooting, police said.
The area where the shooting occurred is a gated apartment community about a block south of Parthenia Street.
