A man sitting in a car was killed in a shooting Friday morning in South Deering on the South Side.
The man, 44, was in the car around 10:50 a.m. in the 1600 block of East 95th Street when he was shot multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Area 2 detectives were investigating.
