Artist residencies at casinos aren’t just for Las Vegas.
Grammy Award-winning Latin rock band Maná announced on Monday, Oct. 19, its exclusive U.S. residency at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland.
The band is set to perform a limited series of shows next year at the casino-resort’s Yaamava’ Theater, in the spring on April 6, 8 and 11, and in the fall on Sept. 1, 2, and 6. The shows will serve as Maná’s only U.S. performances in 2027, according to a news release from Yaamava’.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Thursday, Oct. 22 for Club Serrano members, with a regular presale on Oct. 25 and a general sale on Oct. 26 at yaamava.com.
Maná has performed at Yaamava’ a few times over the years, including a special performance for Hispanic Heritage Month. The two also share an anniversary: Maná, formerly known as Sombrero Verde, formed in 1986, the same year that Yaamava’ Resort & Casino began its operations. Maná’s self-titled debut album will celebrate its 40th anniversary in May 2027, just weeks after the first residency performances.
40 years ago, San Manuel casino changed the tribe — and the Inland Empire
“Maná’s influence on Latin music is unmatched, and we’re honored they selected Yaamava’ Theater for their only U.S. performances in 2027,” said Drew Dixon, Vice President of Entertainment for Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel in the statement. “At Yaamava’, we continually strive to elevate the guest experience through world-class entertainment, and this landmark residency represents an important milestone in that journey. We’re excited for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to bring premier artists, exclusive engagements and unforgettable experiences to Southern California.”
Maná’s impact on music has extended beyond its star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, winning nine Latin Grammy Awards, racking up four Grammy Awards and earning a historic 2025 nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, becoming the first Spanish-language band nominated for the honor.
The band’s landmark 1992 album, “¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños?”, remains the best-selling Latin rock album of all time. Last year, Maná broke the record for the most arena shows in Los Angeles, now at 47, surpassing Bruce Springsteen’s previous record of 42.
While stadium shows have their own ambiance for a rock band like Maná, the Yaamava’ Theater is smaller and offers fans a more intimate experience.
