Reform deputy leader Richard Tice investigated by Parliament standards watchdog

Reform UK’s deputy leader Richard Tice is under investigation by Parliament’s commissioner for standards, it has been revealed.

The news broke as party leader Nigel Farage prepared to start a press conference – his first in several weeks – about his plans to stop small boats crossing the English Channel.

According to the commissioner’s website, the investigation was opened on July 28 and focuses on ‘Failure to declare an interest’.

It was published on the site for the first time today.

Sky News reported the investigation related to a failure to declare an interest while talking about Israel in a Westminster Hall debate.
