A teen was arrested and charged Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a man in Back of the Yards last August, according to Chicago police.
The 17-year-old faces a charge of first-degree murder, police said. He was arrested in Hickory Hills on Tuesday.
David Carmona, 20, was arguing with someone in the 4700 block of South Damen Avenue when he turned to walk away, and other person allegedly shot him in the buttocks, police said. Carmona was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, where he later died.
