“It’s great that the old parking deal is evolving, but it’s difficult to square ‘lucrative benefits for the city and motorists’ with important city goals to improve living conditions and reduce costs by moving away from private car travel.”

“I think it stops some of the bleeding from when they take the spots out of service. Hire a dedicated person that coordinates the departments to make sure those spots are put back in service ASAP. Make sure the utility companies pay for spots they leave out of service.”
