Arsene Wenger has hailed PSG as a ‘complete team’ after they beat Bayern Munich to join Arsenal in the Champions League final.
French champions PSG will face possible Premier League winners Arsenal in the May 30 final in Budapest after a 6-5 aggregate win over Bayern.
Luis Enrique’s side, the defending champions after last year’s triumph, beat Bayern 5-4 in a thrilling first leg and held Vincent Kompany’s team to a 1-1 draw in Munich.
PSG beat Arsenal in the semi-finals on route to their maiden Champions League win last season and will hope for a similar outcome when the two teams meet in Hungary later this month.
Legendary Arsenal manager Wenger was hugely impressed by PSG’s performance against Bayern Munich and said his former club will be facing a ‘complete team’ in the Champions League final.
‘After a game like that you could say Bayern were not at the expected level or you can say that PSG had a really solid game,’ Wenger said on beIN SPORTS.
‘Personally I would go with the second and say PSG defended fantastically well and they maintained the press and never gave a chance to Bayern or any hope of a comeback.

‘Overall I would outline the quality of PSG who have become a really complete team with great cohesion.
‘They also have another extraordinary quality, and that is that any striker in this team in a one-versus-one finishes with a shot on goal and it’s unstoppable.
‘They make sure the goalkeeper has to make a save and that’s a formidable quality.’
Reacting to PSG’s Champions League semi-final win, victorious head coach Enrique said: ‘Good memories. We could leave the match with a lot of intensity.
‘The defence were better than the attack. The character we showed against a team like Bayern is so positive. We’re so happy to reach a second Champions League final in a row.
‘It was very intense. Very difficult. They play football at the highest level. Both teams are similar, we love to press higher. We are very happy.
‘In two days I’m going to celebrate my birthday. I’m very happy. We’re in the next phase of the competition, the final of the Champions League. We want to give our supporters that kind of gift.’
PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added: ‘Very happy we’re in the final. We know it will be difficult against Arsenal.
‘Bayern is one of the best teams right now. It was very difficult. The hardest one in the season. We showed we can play against these teams. I will give everything for this badge.’
Arsenal booked their place in a first Champions League final since 2006 with a hard-fought semi-final win over Atletico Madrid.
