A SKY SPORTS reporter was grabbed and held away from Liverpool target Arne Slot as he tried to get an update on the Dutchman’s future.
The Feyenoord boss is favourite to take over from Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool and appears to be edging closer to agreeing a deal to take charge at Anfield.

With everyone trying to find out the current state of the deal, Sky Sports journalist Gary Cotterill took his chances when the 45-year-old stepped off the Feyenoord team bus ahead of the club’s clash with Go Ahead Eagles tonight.
Cotterill approached Slot to ask him about his future but was quickly blocked off by a member of the manager’s entourage who grabbed hold of his shoulder and held him away at arm’s length.
Slot smiled as he was quizzed about his future but was reluctant to divulge any information about a Merseyside move.
Cotterill said to the tactician: “You’re in the news!”
To which Slot replied: “I am. I can’t deny that.”
Cotterill tried his best to get the former AZ Alkmaar manager to divulge some information on his future by adding: “You said you wanted to go to the Premier League. Is it a possibility?”
But Slot shut down the questions by focusing on the task at hand with Feyenoord, replying: “But tonight we play Go Ahead Eagles”.
Jurgen Klopp announced he will be standing down as Liverpool boss at the end of the season and has just four games remaining in charge of the club.

However a fairy tale ending with the Premier League trophy in the German’s hands looks like an uphill battle after a 2-0 loss to Everton on Wednesday night.
Liverpool are trying to organise their replacement for Klopp, who has transformed the club since his arrival in 2015, as quickly as possible.
And despite strong links with Sporing Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim, Slot looks to be the leading candidate for the job.
The Reds had also been linked with Xabi Alonso, who has led his unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen club to the Bundesliga title, but the former Liverpool midfielder has announced he will be staying in Germany.

LIVERPOOL managerial target Arne Slot was a good enough player to have a type of pass named after him.
But it is as a manager that the Feyenoord head coach is really making his mark.
Like another bald Dutchman, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, Slot earned his stripes bossing smaller sides before being given a chance at one of the Netherlands’ big three.
But the question Liverpool are pondering is whether Slot would make a better fist of running one of the biggest clubs in the world than Ten Hag so far has at Old Trafford.
Slot, 45, was certainly easier on the eye as a player than centre back Ten Hag.
“The Arne Slot Ball” was something he perfected as a silky No 10 – a back-to-goal, first-time, 180-degree spin and flick behind the defensive line for a winger to run on to deep in the opposition half.
