Dak Prescott & Sarah Jane Ramos’ Are ‘Emotional Mess’ As Planned Wedding Day Approaches

Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos are navigating an emotional period following their recent breakup, with the former couple reportedly still processing what led to the breakup just days before their planned wedding.

According to a Daily Mail report, Prescott and Ramos are struggling to come to terms with the split as their April 10 wedding date in Lake Como, Italy, approaches.

Dak Prescott & Sarah Jane Ramos ‘Processing’ Breakup Ahead of Wedding Date

A source told the outlet that Prescott and Ramos “have yet to grasp what has happened,” describing the situation as ongoing and difficult for both.

“They’re both still processing the emotions of what was supposed to be their wedding just days away,” the insider said, adding that invited guests “are still reaching out.”

The source noted that Prescott and Ramos remain closely connected due to their shared responsibilities as parents to their two daughters, Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 10 months.

“They can’t simply separate,” the insider explained. “They’re in the thick of it all. They haven’t even had the space to really cry or begin working through it. They are doing everything else to not focus on their relationship fully being over.”

While the pair are reportedly “holding up OK,” the source added, “They are both an emotional mess and really trying to put on a serious face.”

The insider concluded, “They are taking it day by day, but the next few days, especially as we get closer to what would have been their wedding, is going to be rough.”

Sarah Jane Ramos Confirms Wedding Cancellation Amid Infidelity Claims

News of the breakup first surfaced last month when Ramos informed wedding guests that the ceremony would no longer take place.

“It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” Ramos wrote in an email obtained by Page Six. “We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”

According to Page Six, the split followed alleged “infidelity issues.” A source claimed that Ramos believed Prescott had been communicating with other women during their relationship.

The outlet also reported that Ramos issued an ultimatum before the breakup, urging Prescott to change his behavior. The couple, who began dating in 2023, got engaged in October 2024 after starting their family earlier that year.

They later welcomed their second child in May.

Dak Prescott & Sarah Jane Ramos Work Toward Custody Agreement

Following the breakup, Prescott filed a Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship (SAPCR) on March 17 in Collin County, Texas, according to Page Six.

In Texas, an SAPCR is commonly used by unmarried parents to establish custody arrangements, visitation schedules, and financial responsibilities. Prescott reportedly requested that he and Ramos be named joint managing conservators of their daughters.

A hearing was initially scheduled but has since been postponed as both sides attempt to resolve matters outside of court. If needed, they are expected to reconvene on April 16.

Ramos’ attorney, Raymond Rafool, told the outlet, “The parties are working together. My client’s very happy with the course that this matter is going.”

Prescott’s attorney, Levi G. McCathern II, added, “The case is not resolved, but the parties have agreed to postpone the first hearing in an attempt to work out all of the various issues without court intervention.”

He continued, “Dak is an absolutely phenomenal father and is looking forward to working with Sarah Jane to develop a healthy co-parent relationship and do what is in the best interests of his children.”
