Erling Haaland’s dad has suggested the Manchester City striker would be interested in joining another club.
Haaland scored a late and brilliant brace to fire Norway into the quarter-finals of the World Cup and knock out the well-fancied Brazil.
The 25-year-old is the joint-top goalscorer at the World Cup with Argentina superstar Lionel Messi and France hero Kylian Mbappe both also on seven for the tournament.
Haaland broke the deadlock against Brazil with a brilliant header after beating Arsenal rival Gabriel in the air, before he put the tie to bed with a crisp strike from the edge of the box.

As well as winning three Premier League Golden Boot awards, Haaland also boasts an incredible goalscoring record in international football, scoring 62 goals in 54 appearances and netting in his 14 games.
Manchester City fans will be hoping Haaland stays at the Etihad Stadium for many years to come after he extended his contract at the start of 2025.
But Haaland’s reputation as one of the best players in the world means he continues to be linked with some stunning moves, most notably to Real Madrid.
Just last month Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme claimed he would sign Haaland this summer if he beat Florentino Perez in the election.
Haaland’s father Alf-Inge was asked about the Real Madrid transfer links before Norway’s World Cup win over Brazil while appearing on DAZN.
Haaland senior, who also played for Man City and Norway, said his son was ‘very happy’ at the Etihad but insisted that ‘you never know what could happen’ as ‘anyone would want to play for Real Madrid’.
‘A move to Real Madrid move? He’s very happy at Manchester City and has a long contract,’ Haaland’s dad said.
‘We’re waiting for the new season, but anyone would want to play for Madrid. You never know what can happen in football.’
Brazil were widely tipped for a deep World Cup run under legendary manager Carlo Ancelotti but were knocked out by Norway before the quarter-finals.
Reacting to Brazil’s World Cup exit, Ancelotti said: ‘I think we are all extremely sad, because I see that the team has delivered not an exceptional World Cup but a good one.
‘I also think that in today’s match we deserved to win. When you go through a moment like this, you have to think that the loss is the beginning of a new adventure, and a new season.
‘We must continue to work and improve, and find new ideas. I believe that this loss is not the end, but the beginning of a new cycle.’
Haaland will be playing under a new Manchester City manager next season after Enzo Maresca was confirmed as Pep Guardiola’s replacement.
