F1 Chinese Grand Prix 2024: UK Start time, stream, schedule as Norris looks to build on chaotic Sprint qualifying win

THE Chinese GP returns after a four-year hiatus due to Covid-19 and there has already been chaos on the Shanghai track.

It was bizarre scenes on Friday as fires reportedly broke out during the Sprint qualifying race.

However, British McLaren star Lando Norris held his nerve to secure pole ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

This makes for an interesting GP as serial winner Max Verstappen fell to fourth on the grid following his Japanese Grand Prix triumph.

But the three-time world champion will still be favourite to win in what is expected to be a dramatic wet race.

When is the F1 Chinese Grand Prix 2024?

The F1 Chinese Grand Prix 2024 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 21.

It is scheduled to get underway at 8am BST.

Shanghai International Circuit is the allocated track for this huge race and it can host a staggering 200,000 passionate fans.

Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line first during the last Chinese GP in 2019.

What TV channel is it on and can it be live streamed?

The F1 Australian Grand Prix will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports F1.
