JOHN PARROTT celebrated his snooker world championship win by staring at a ceiling fan for ten days.
The 59-year-old claimed his sole Crucible victory in 1991.

And he celebrated by flying to Antigua for some sun, sand and sea after beating Jimmy White 18-11 in the final.
But Parrott was unable to enjoy his holiday properly as he felt “knackered” as he came down from the high of winning the world championships.
He told the Daily Star: “I was absolutely knackered.
“It was 17 days of mental torture. I take my hat off to people who are multiple winners because it’s just so difficult to do.
“I remember going on holiday to Antigua straight afterwards and watching the fan go around the ceiling for 10 days thinking ‘I’ve just won the world championships’.
“It’s very hard to come down from as it’s an incredible high and it does linger with you for quite a while.”
Parrott will be watching on from inside the Crucible when the 2024 World Snooker Championship gets underway on Saturday.
He now works as a pundit for the BBC and revealed who he wants to win this year’s tournament.

He added: “I’d like to see Ronnie [O’Sullivan] win.
“The way he’s taken the game on, to win eight times would be fitting for the best player we’ve ever seen. Can he get past Stephen Hendry’s seven? Personally, I’d like to see him do it because I think he should.
“I think Ronnie is playing on his own terms, which is good. There are a few matches where he’s played in fits and starts, but when it’s come to the business end, he’s kicked up a gear and won the match.
“He’s been playing on his own terms and playing the way he wants to play and that’s given him extra longevity.”
