Jude Bellingham has been told to prepare for ‘war’ by Harry Kane with Real Madrid up against Bayern Munich for a place in the Champions League final.

Bayern advanced to the semi-finals on Wednesday night after defeating Arsenal, with Real joining them soon after after knocking out holders Manchester City on penalties.

The German and Spanish giants will now battle it out for a place in the final at Wembley where they’ll face either PSG or Borussia Dortmund.

It means that arguably England’s two best players are set to go head-to-head for the first time ever.

Both Three Lions stars are enjoying fantastic debut seasons with their respective clubs, with striker Kane scoring 39 goals and making 12 assists in 40 appearances so far, while midfielder Bellingham has 20 goals and 10 assists in 35 games.

‘Jude has had a fantastic season, he’s a top player,’ England captain Kane said as he looked toward their upcoming clash.

‘I’m really happy for him but it will be another war against his team – but that’s the experiences that we both went abroad to try to achieve, to play in these big nights in the Champions League, to play in these big semi-finals.

‘It will be one to enjoy and I’m sure there will be a lot of English fans watching both of us. We have to focus on ourselves.

‘Of course, I’ll say hello but once we’re on the pitch, it’s business.’

Despite his individual success, Kane is yet to win a trophy in his career, with the Champions League the 30-year-old’s last hope for this season after Bayern failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in 14 years, relinquishing the title to Bayer Leverkusen.
