After making real progress last season, Michael Carrick’s side endured a nightmare start to the new Premier League campaign away to Hull City, comfortably beaten by the Tigers.
They are up against another newly-promoted side who got a big win on the opening weekend in Ipswich, fresh from their victory over Sunderland last Saturday.
United looked sluggish, unfit and off the pace at Hull, with a response needed in front of their own fans today.
