Ousmane Dembele has eased any injury fears heading into Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League final showdown with Arsenal.
The 2026 Ballon d’Or winner has enjoyed another sensational campaign in the French capital with 19 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances.
Seven of those goals have come in the Champions League, including three across both semi-final legs against Bayern Munich.
He started his side’s final match of the Ligue 1 campaign against neighbours Paris FC at the weekend but was forced off after just 27 minutes that afternoon.

Dembele was absent from training on Wednesday but the Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona star is absolutely certain he will be ready to start against the Gunners in Budapest on 30 May.
‘I’m doing very well. I had a slight scare against Paris FC, but I’m fine and I’ll be ready for the final,’ he told RMC Sport.
‘Will I be 100% for the final? Yes, yes, I think so, yes, I’ll be ready. I have no doubt about it, I hope to be on the pitch on May 30th.’
While always regarded as an elite talent, Dembele has transformed into one the game’s very best in Paris. Injury issues have been a theme throughout his career but the forward believes he has learned to manage those problems and know when to stop and avoid risks.
‘I’ve had so many minor scares or major injuries in my career,’ Dembele said. ‘Whether here at PSG or even before, especially with the big matches coming up, especially this final, I preferred to stop and above all not take any risks.’
Dembele was a thorn in Arsenal’s side last season, scoring the only goal in the first leg at the Emirates in their semi-final with PSG running out 3-1 winners on aggregate.
The defending champions have a relatively clean bill of health heading into the final.
Achraf Hakimi has not played since suffering a muscle injury in the semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich but is hoped he will be available.
