SENIOR snooker legends will be battling it out once again to lift the title in Sheffield – and the prize money up for grabs could be a great addition to their pension pot.
Jimmy White lifted his fourth World Seniors title last year after beating Alfie Burden 5-3 in a tense 2023 final.

And as a result, the English icon took home a winning prize of £15,000.
However, the likes of Ken Doherty and Tony Knowles will be desperate to snatch White’s crown and earn a lump sum of extra cash for themselves this year.
Furthermore, the stakes have been raised in 2024 as the winner is set to earn more than White did when he last lifted the title.
What is the World Seniors Snooker Championship 2024 prize money?
There will be a whopping £50,000 in the World Seniors prize pot this year with the winner taking home £5,000 more than Jimmy White did in 2023.
White won £15,000 for his victory over Alfie Burden in the most recent competition.
However, the 2024 winner will receive £20,000 and they will also earn an automatic spot in the Champions of Champions event later this year.
