A Delta Air Lines plane was hit by a firework during its descent into Midway International Airport Saturday night.
The flight, en route from Atlanta, was landing around 8:30 p.m. when crew members said the firework hit the aircraft, according to a Delta spokesperson.
The plane landed without any issues, and no one was hurt. The plane wasn’t damaged, according to Delta. The airline said 52 customers and six crew members were on board.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
