NORTH HILLS — The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office on Sunday released the name of the woman who died in a North Hills murder-suicide and identified her as the person who killed herself and apparently killed the others.
Officers responded about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday to the 16200 block of Londelius Street, near the intersection of Parthenia Street and Woodley Avenue, to reports of shots fired, the Los Angeles Police Department stated.
They found four people dead inside the home — a man, a woman and two children, an officer said.
Three people died from gunshot wounds to the head in homicides, the ME’s office stated. They were identified as Khajag Basmajian, 31, Alec Basmajian, 2, and Ella Basmajian, whose age was listed as 6 days.
Thirty-year-old Marine Basmajian also died from a gunshot wound to the head, but her death was determined to be a suicide, the ME’s office determined.
The Medical Examiner did not note the relationships between those killed, but reports from the scene indicated that the mother was believed to be the shooter.
