A 26-year-old woman was killed and three others were injured in a head-on car crash early Sunday in Jackson Park, according to Chicago police.
A white sedan with three people inside crossed into oncoming traffic in the 6300 block of South Richards Drive and crashed into a silver sedan just after midnight, police said in a statement.
The driver of the silver sedan — the only person in the car — was in serious condition at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. The woman was one of three people in the white sedan. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The two others were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital: a 25-year-old man in critical condition and a 25-year-old man in fair condition.
Police did not say who was driving the white sedan.
