A man was in critical condition after being shot early Sunday during a robbery in the River North neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
The man, 32, was walking in the 400 block of North LaSalle Street around 2:15 a.m. when a white SUV pulled up, police said in a statement.
One of the males from the SUV demanded the man’s property then opened fire, police said. The man was shot multiple times and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
Police reported no arrests.
