Street closures around Grant Park begin Monday for the Taste of Chicago Festival, which is set to run from July 8-12.
Starting 6 a.m. Monday, June 29, the curb lanes of Columbus Avenue will close from Monroe Street to Balbo Drive, according to the Office of Emergency Management and Communication.
That section of street fully closes 6 a.m. Thursday, July 2. At the same time, Ida B. Wells will fully close from Columbus to the semicircle.
At 6 a.m. Sunday, July 5, Jackson Drive will fully close from Michigan Avenue to Lake Shore Drive. Simultaneously, Columbus will fully close from Balbo to Roosevelt Road.
All streets reopen to traffic at 11:59 p.m. Monday, July 13.
