Manchester United hope they can sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United this summer for £30million as a replacement for Marcus Rashford.
Summerville is expected to leave West Ham United after their relegation from the Premier League with his stock rising further after a string of impressive performances for Netherlands at the World Cup.
Focus so far at Old Trafford has been on rebuilding the midfield with Andrey Santos joining from Chelsea. He was swiftly followed through the door by Youri Tielemans with United completing a shock move for the Aston Villa star this week after his £35million release clause was activated.

But a left winger is still a target should they be able to move Marcus Rashford on.
The England star will return to Carrington after the World Cup after Barcelona decided not to make his loan arrangement permanent, signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United instead.
His future remains in the balance but United’s preference is to offload the 28-year-old with Summerville their top target to replace him, the Guardian reports.

West Ham are open to selling the Dutchman although reports earlier in the summer have suggested it could take considerably more than £30m to prise him away from the London Stadium.
United’s midfield rebuild is not done yet with the club hoping to sign a third midfielder before the new season starts.
An approach has already been made to sign France and Roma star Manu Kone, with the Serie A side reportedly ready to let him leave for £51m.
Alex Scott and Eduardo Camavinga are also named as two players Michael Carrick admirers but both have an asking price of around £80m, a figure that means a move for any of them is viewed as unlikely, the report adds.
