It might only be the beginning of November, but Amanda Holden has officially decided that Christmas is here – and judging by the state of her Surrey mansion, she’s not taking any objections.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 55, has wasted absolutely no time getting into the festive spirit, unveiling an extravagant transformation of her family home that would give Santa’s grotto a run for its money.
While the rest of us are still recovering from Halloween and wondering vaguely about our Christmas shopping lists, Amanda has already enlisted a team of professional decorators to turn her sprawling property into a winter wonderland.
Sharing a video of the spectacular results on Instagram, the Heart Radio presenter offered fans a tour of her newly decorated home, beginning with a front entrance that looks like it belongs on the cover of a luxury Christmas catalogue.
The doorway is practically disappearing beneath enormous swathes of greenery, twinkling fairy lights, and an elaborate festive wreath, setting the tone for what’s waiting inside.
Amanda then throws open her front doors and beckons the camera in, where her two dogs are on hand to welcome visitors to their considerably more glamorous version of the North Pole.
Beyond the marble floors stands an enormous Christmas tree, dripping with golden ornaments, dark green ribbons, and enough lights to make the electricity bill an unwelcome January surprise.
There’s even a golden stag’s head nestled among the branches.
The sweeping staircase has also received the full festive treatment, with luxurious garlands cascading along the bannister to complete the picture-perfect scene.
Some might question putting up Christmas decorations before Bonfire Night has even arrived, but Amanda has a touching explanation for her enthusiasm.
In a heartfelt Instagram caption, she reflected on the childhood memories that have made the festive season so special to her.
‘I don’t think I’ll ever be able to explain quite what Christmas means to me,’ she began.
‘I was lucky enough to have a childhood full of love. We didn’t have much, but somehow Christmas always felt like we had everything.’
The presenter explained that, despite having long since grown up, the simple act of decorating her home still transports her back to those magical childhood Christmases.
‘Even now, the decorations going up give me a lump in my throat. I’m straight back to being little, full of excitement and believing anything was possible,’ she continued.
‘And for the record, I still believe in Father Christmas. Always have. Always will.’
Amanda revealed that Kelly Louise Floral Artistry and her team had spent the weekend bringing her festive vision to life, and was keen to clarify that the lavish installation wasn’t a freebie.
‘I paid for the installation, but I’ll always shout about good people doing brilliant things. And I absolutely love what they’ve created,’ she wrote, praising the decorators as ‘warm, funny, hardworking people’.
She continued: ‘Anyway, consider this fair warning. The Christmas content will be relentless.’

‘Feel free to mute me until January, but I’ll be reporting you directly to Santa.’
The spectacular decorations are just the latest glimpse inside the presenter’s luxurious Cobham property, which she moved into with her family in 2023 after selling her former South West London home for a reported £5million.
Amanda shares the Surrey mansion with her husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters, Alexa and Hollie.
And Christmas isn’t the only occasion that calls for a spectacular makeover at the Holden household.
In August last year, the television star proudly showed off the results of an extensive garden renovation, celebrating its completion with a lavish Mexican-themed party attended by a host of famous friends.
Guests including Alan Carr, Bruno Tonioli, Angela Griffin and Tamzin Outhwaite were treated to a fiesta complete with a mariachi band, taco and churro trucks, and a swimming pool surrounded by palm trees.
The outdoor space also boasts sunloungers, a poolside bar and several seating areas, including a fire pit surrounded by sofas.
But with the garden parties seemingly over for another year, Amanda has now turned her attention indoors, where the festive celebrations are already in full swing.
