Celebrity Traitors cast have already got a gripe with the show before the first episode has even aired.
After the phenomenal success of Celebrity Traitors last year which broke huge records and saw more than 15 million people watch Alan Carr somehow deceive the entire faithful to be crowned winner, the next batch of stars will start battling it out in the castle on October 1.
If you thought last year’s line-up couldn’t be topped, think again as the likes of Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen, Jerry Hall, Miranda Hart and Joe Lycett are among the famous faces playing the most gripping game on television.
However, some have already started complaining after the BBC released the official headshots for the cast this week.
Comedian Rob Beckett was among the stars to be left bewildered by their cast photo that will go on to be viewed by millions and be cemented in The Traitors hall of fame. Soz, Rob.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, he wrote: ‘I think there’s a traitor in the photoshop department…. what the f**k has happened to my face?’
His wife and co-host of the Parenting Hell podcast, Lou Beckett, was clearly loving her husband’s embarrassment, and responded: ‘I’m using AI to replace you in every photo in the house with this one.’
But he wasn’t the only cast member to take a swipe at their headshot, with Maya Jama adding: ‘They did us all dirty tbh.’
Their complaints come after Joanne McNally had a pop at the Celebrity Taritors trailer released last week.
The first footage from series two showed the contestants arriving at a church spliced with various glimpses from the series but the Irish comedian was barely in it compared to others who were featured far more heavily.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote a caption over the trailer: ‘I’m starting to think I wasn’t actually in @ukthetraitors at all and it was all a fever dream!’
She then started her video saying: ‘Every single time there’s a trailer released for the Celebrity Traitors – which starts on October 1 – I’m like, oh it’s so exciting and I press play. It’s the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my career; it’s so exciting.
‘And every time I’m not in any of them. I’m like, okay, that’s cool. I’m sure it’s fine. Probably, maybe they’re like, she makes such an impact on the show that we don’t want to oversaturate her at this stage. I’m sure it’s fine.
‘I did do it, didn’t I? Imagine if I tried to text Maya Jama now and she’s like, “Who is this?” I was like, oh my god, I made the whole thing up in my head.’
She went on to joke that she’s ‘moments away from AI-ing’ herself into the trailers, she joked that she put her face onto a bird ‘flying around the roundtable’ or as a ‘parrot sitting myself on Romesh Ranganathan’s shoulders’.
She added: ‘‘You know I want to be involved. It’s in my nature. I want to be involved.’
Celebrity Traitors returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on October 1 at 8pm.
