Amid rumors of a split, Elsie Hewitt is letting her words speak for themselves. The model and food influencer, 30, addressed reports of her separation from comedian-actor Pete Davidson, 32, in a couple of candid TikTok videos that offered fans an honest and unfiltered look at where she stands right now.

The two had been dating for more than a year before multiple outlets reported their separation earlier this week, with the US Sun first breaking the news.

Seemingly confirming the split reports, the video that set the internet talking began simply enough. Hewitt appeared tired, candid, and completely unfiltered.
“I’m exhausted, okay? I should’ve left the house looking nicer yesterday. I should’ve known that was going to happen,” she said at the start of the clip, as quoted by The Independent.
She quickly shifted to something more personal.
“But that’s not what I’m thinking about right now because I have a baby to take care of,” she continued.
“And I also have to work and make money. And I’m doing it on my own, which is hard.”
The comment section filled quickly. Hewitt then liked a response from a fellow mother that read: “From a fellow single mama, you’re doing amazing, and all we can do is show up and do our best.”
The gesture did not go unnoticed.
What Led to the Reported Split
The posts came days after People reported the couple had separated following a difficult stretch that began during Hewitt’s pregnancy.
“They were already struggling a bit while Elsie was pregnant,” a source told the outlet. “Things just happened so quickly between them,m and they didn’t know each other very well.”
According to the same report, the two were working toward a co-parenting arrangement and to build a friendship for Scottie’s sake.
The insider made clear, however, that getting there would take time. They “would like to be friends and do things together, but it’s difficult to think about getting to that place right now.”
The source added, their daughter remains “their top priority.”
It is worth noting that The Independent separately reported that Hewitt and Davidson are continuing to work on their relationship amid reports of a split.
