Eva Mendes and husband Ryan Gosling prefer to lead a private life with their two daughters. However, the “Hitch” actress just gave fans a glimpse into the pair’s “date nights.”

Mendes opened up about keeping the romance alive with her longtime partner during a rare interview with People.
“Yeah, we do have date nights regularly,” Mendes told the outlet in an interview published on Friday, April 17.
These “regular” date nights include “all the unmentionables,” she laughed.
“I don’t know what else to say. We like movies and we like going to the movies so we try to keep that alive,” the actress explained.
She went on to say that she and Gosling are strategic about where they spend their time together, opting for privacy over public attention.
“People are usually cool,” she added. “If you want attention, you go to certain places, and if you don’t, you know where to go. We do the latter.”

Mendes and Gosling met on the set of their 2012 film, “The Place Beyond the Pines.” The ultra-private couple made one of their only red carpet appearances together at the premiere of said film.
“Thatâs literally me going, ‘Iâm not in love with him. What? Iâm not in love.’ ‘Cause we were trying to be very professional,” Mendes told Kelly Clarkson during a 2019 appearance on her talk show.
Throughout their more than a decade-long relationship, Mendes and Gosling welcomed two daughters. Esmeralda Amada Gosling was born in September 2014, followed by sister Amada Lee Gosling in April 2016.
In 2022, rumors began to swirl that the couple had finally tied the knot. The “Ghost Rider” actress played coy after dropping a major hint via body ink.
“de Gosling,” a tattoo on Mendes’s wrist read, as she prominently showed off her art via Instagram in November 2022.
Later that month, she confirmed the rumors during a guest appearance on Channel 9âs Today in Australia.
“Everyone is so welcoming here, and my husband, Ryan, is here, and we are having the best time,” she told hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon, per Harper’s Bazaar.
The happy couple has continued to privately support each other’s careers, including when Mendes was spotted backstage cheering on her husband as he performed “I Am Ken” at the 2024 Academy Awards.
Mendes and Gosling made their first official appearance as a couple in more than a decade last month during an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
