After the mammoth success of I’m A Celebrity South Africa, all eyes are on who will feature in the new line-up for the traditional series later this year.

The Ant and Dec-helmed survival-of-the-fittest reality series puts celebrities through their paces in the daunting Australian wilderness as they attempt to choke down creepy crawlies and get up close and personal with the scariest animals around.

Last year saw a chaotic concoction of campmates, including Martin Kemp, Vogue Williams, Aitch and Jack Osbourne appear on the ITV show.

Producers will no doubt be looking to create some onscreen magic with this year’s cohort as well – especially after the explosive happenings on I’m A Celeb All Stars.

From Gemma Collins’ longer-than-48-hour stint, to the many, many feuds, there was no end to the drama.

Who is rumoured for I’m A Celeb 2026?

It’s not I’m A Celebrity if the line-up doesn’t include at least one noughties icon, and it looks like this year it might come in the form of Mis-Teeq star Su-Elise Nash, 45.

The music artist rose to prominence as part of the hit girl group alongside Sabrina Washington and Alesha Dixon, with their single Scandalous reaching number two in the charts in 2003.

The group broke up to pursue solo careers in 2005 but are reuniting to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Licking On Both Sides, with a special Wembley show this autumn.

If she does enter the fray, she’ll be following in the footsteps of bandmate Sabrina, who appeared in the jungle in 2009.

A source told The Sun: ‘Su was incredibly supportive of Sabrina’s jungle experience, and now she could get her own shot.

‘There have been early talks for her to be considered. The reunion has reminded everyone just how much love there still is for Mis-Teeq.’

The singer almost took part in the show in 2008, so this would be her second shot at it, with the insider adding ‘the timing couldn’t be better’.

Strictly Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova, 36, could be swapping out the dance floor for the jungle later this year.

The Ukrainian dancer shocked fans with her exit as a pro from the flagship BBC series after nine years, following a major cast shakeup. But it doesn’t seem as though she’ll be down for the count for long.

Given that Strictly often clashes with I’m A Celebrity – both of which are filmed live – this has been her first chance to actually join the show.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Nadiya has always been on the radar but has been unable to take part because of her commitment to Strictly. Now she’s a free agent, the offers have been coming in thick and fast.

‘She’s had a number of chats about doing the jungle. Bosses are so impressed with her, it’s even been suggested she turns down other shows.’

After her departure as a pro from Strictly was confirmed, she took to social media to tease that her journey with the show ‘isn’t over’ and it remains to be seen if she’ll return as a choreographer or in another position.

One half of Olympic skating duo Torvill and Dean could be gliding their way into the jungle this autumn.

Christopher Dean is the latest celebrity to be rumoured as a potential campmate in the jungle.

Alongside his ice-dancing partner, Janye Torvill, Christopher won gold at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. Since then the beloved pair have judged and coached on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, before it was cancelled in 2025.

Later this year, Christopher could be swapping the skates for a pair of hiking shoes if he is to join the channel’s hit reality show.

According to The Sun, Christopher is in chats with ITV producers, after having been on their wish list for years.

A source told the publication: ‘He’s always been adamant the jungle isn’t for him.

‘When bosses came knocking this year, he saw it in a different light. He’s recently retired and is looking for a new challenge.

‘I’m A Celebrity is certainly that, so he has met with producers a few times already to talk through being a campmate for this year’s standard Australian series.’

When is I’m A Celebrity 2026 expected to air?

There is no official release date for I’m A Celebrity 2026 yet, but it is likely to return in November this year.

Last year, livestreamer and football influencer AngryGinge was crowned King of the Jungle after a gruelling few weeks jampacked with tough bush tucker trials.

‘I feel amazing. Honestly, (it is a) dream come true. I did not think I’d go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted,’ he said at the time.

Celebs Go Dating star Tom Wilson and EastEnders icon Shona McGarty came second and third, respectively.

Meanwhile, Adam Thomas was dubbed ‘ultimate jungle legend’ this year after a turbulent time on the all-stars version.
