Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are sharing new details about life with their baby girl just days after announcing her arrival. The couple confirmed the news on April 2 and has since offered a glimpse into their first moments as parents, including a nickname fans have already embraced.

Steinfeld opened up about her experience in an April 3 newsletter, writing, “To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement. I’m soaking in the newborn bliss.”

Following the announcement, fans of Allen and the Buffalo Bills quickly reacted in the comments, giving the newborn a nickname that has gained attention. Several fans referred to the baby as the “Princess of Buffalo.”

Steinfeld’s family has also shared their excitement publicly. Her mother, Cheri Steinfeld, commented, “Cha Cha officially clocked in!!!” while her father, Peter Steinfeld, added, “Pop Pop officially clocked in!!” Her brother, Griffin Steinfeld, wrote, “Uncle Griffin officially clocked in!!”

Steinfeld and Allen first shared the baby’s arrival in the April 2 Beau Society Substack newsletter. They wrote, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”

Allen has also spoken about becoming a father in recent months. During a January press conference, he said, “It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else.”

He added, “But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, being a dad. And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I’m looking forward to this one.”

Allen also reflected on the moment in December, saying, “It’s been really cool. It’s a special moment in [me and] my wife’s life.”

Before the baby’s arrival, Steinfeld spoke about her relationship with Allen in an interview with Bustle. She said, “That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable. I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Life makes sense. Everything makes sense.”

She continued, “I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”

Steinfeld and Allen began dating in 2023 and married in May 2025.
