It’s been nearly two weeks since one of the most chaotic live finales in the history of reality TV, but the action does not appear to be over for I’m A Celebrity.
Following the whirlwind all-stars version in South Africa, the ITV series is now said to be planning a new spin-off show in the Canadian wilderness as part of its 25th anniversary.
The Wild Frontier version will also reportedly feature a ‘surprise twist’ by pairing up well-known faces as they tackle terrifying trials.
The new format is expected to air next year after producers approved it, and it will once again feature Ant and Dec as presenters.
A source told The Sun: ‘This has all been very hush-hush, but everyone involved is really excited to get cracking with filming.

‘The scenery will be stunning and the action explosive.
‘Imagine the tension of two stars paired together, forced to eat, sleep, breathe and work together in constant near proximity.
‘There will likely be fireworks and already some pretty big names are in the mix to appear.’
This comes after it was revealed yesterday that David Haye is planning on suing ITV for ‘way more than £10,000,000’ over his depiction on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.
Haye was part of an infamous finale that saw him swoop in to defend Jimmy Bullard against Adam Thomas, who went on to win the show and be crowned an ‘Ultimate Legend’.

Our senior TV reporter has conveniently unpacked all of the drama that took place on the series…
But after the scenes, which were filmed last autumn in South Africa, finally aired, Haye was accused of ‘bullying’ the Waterloo Road star, who he said was not a ‘worthy winner’ during the live final in London.
This was after fans criticised his views on women for a theory about the ‘ugly duckling syndrome’, which was branded ‘sexist’ by his campmate Beverley Callard.
Now, however the former boxer is said to have instructed his lawyers to send a letter to the channel demanding a ‘full investigation’ of the show’s edit, which he believes was deliberately manipulated to make him ‘the pantomime villain’.
Speaking to his followers in a video, Haye said he had been ‘inundated’ with questions about whether his intended legal action was true.
‘The answer is yes,’ he said. ‘I’m not sure if you know me that well but those who do know that I don’t like getting pushed around. I don’t like people taking advantage.
‘I’ve had stuff happen in the past, I’ve let certain stuff go, but as I’ve got older I’m like, nah, you’re taking the p**s. I’m going to take it as far as it needs to go.’

Adam, who was crowned the second-ever Ultimate Legend, is also said to have been left ‘furious after feeling exploited’ by the series.
The 37-year-old Waterloo Road appeared on his podcast with his brothers, At Home With The Thomas Bros, and said: ‘I just felt like I’d just been exploited and I think you can see it at the end of the live show.
‘I feel like I sold my soul and you couldn’t pay me £10,000,000 to do that experience again. Nothing is worth what I went through in there.’
