On Friday, March 27, Basinger took to Instagram to share a video of herself with Willis to mark the anniversary of their film. In the caption, she wrote, “Nobody couldâve been a better partner than Bruce Willis for this movie⦔

The Film Focuses on a Blind Date that ‘Turns into a Chaotic Night’
“When bachelor Walter Davis (Bruce Willis) is set up with his sister-in-law’s pretty cousin, Nadia Gates (Kim Basinger), a seemingly average blind date turns into a chaotic night on the town,” according to Rotten Tomatoes Classic Trailers. “Walter’s brother, Ted (Phil Hartman), tells him not to let Nadia drink alcohol, but he dismisses the warning, and her behavior gets increasingly wild. The late Roger Ebert wrote about the film in March 1987, saying, “Sheâs a blind date, all right. One glass of Champagne and sheâs chewing on his lips. Two glasses and sheâs shouting across crowded restaurants and ripping the pockets off of menâs suits. It doesnât take much to get her blind. One drink will do it, and it is the misfortune of the hero of ‘Blind Date’ that he gives her that one drink.”
