Over 70 upcoming games have had their achievements leaked via Steam and that includes Kingdom Hearts 4, which means all of its different worlds have been revealed.

Today is not a good day if you’re allergic to spoilers. Dozens of video games have had their entire achievement lists leaked via Steam and while some of them are minor titles no one cares about others are massive games that don’t even have a release date yet, including Japanese titles Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts 4.

Why publishers are uploading that sort of information years in advance is a mystery, especially as the leak seems to be an accident and not a hack. But you can bet things are going to change in the future and that Valve is currently warming up its lawyers, because publishers will be absolutely furious about this.

For now though, all the information is out there in the public domain and that includes confirmation of all the worlds in Kingdom Hearts 4, including the rumoured Star Wars one. So if you don’t want to be exposed to any more rumours don’t read any further.

*** Warning: Major Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 4 ***

Although the majority of leaked achievement lists are for games that are out this year there are others that don’t have a release date and even some games that haven’t been announced at all – including Twin Peaks and Alf(!) games.

Square Enix recently confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 4 will launch in late 2027, so why there’s any information at all in Steam is hard to understand. As is the nature of achievements, it’s not clear what some of them mean, without the context of having played the game. While in some cases, the description of the achievement is missing, presumably to be added in later.

Unfortunately for Square Enix though the least ambiguous ones are those that are awarded for completing a world. This makes it clear that there are eight worlds in the game, and they seem to be based on the following Disney properties:

Quadratum – the almost real-world version of Tokyo that’s been shown extensively in previews, although technically it’s described as a hub world.

Star Wars – the main achievement is called Desert Do-Gooder, which implies Tatooine, although the earliest hints implied Endor as well; a second achievement is named May the Light Be with You but its description is missing.

Toy Story – possibly involving a toy convention as the achievement is called Expo Organizer.

Imagineer Planet – Imagineers is the name Disney gives to those who design theme parks, so it’s hard to say what this will involve.

Haunted Mansion – a long-standing theme park attraction that’s had two separate movie adaptations.

Black and white cartoons – the world is described as Monochrome Origins, so it is presumably based on very early Disney creations like Steamboat Willie and perhaps Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Zootopia – this one is called Savanna Central and while at first you might assume that’s a reference to the Lion King, it’s actually the name of the city centre in Zootropolis/Zootopia.

Coco – this one was already confirmed by the most recent trailers but it’s unambiguous described in the achievement as the Land of the Dead.

We already know from the footage shown by Square Enix that the Underworld from Hercules is in the game, as it has been in previous entries, but the achievements suggest it’s not a separate world in its own right. Scala Ad Caelum (aka Stairway to Heaven), which has also featured in previous games, is also referenced.

There may be many other properties that are in the game but don’t have an entire world to themselves, as the achievement Hundred Acre Conductor is obviously a reference to Winnie the Pooh, who’s been in many of the previous games.

Perhaps there are other clues in the achievements we’re not getting, but you can see the full leaked list here. Although we’re not sure how long this info is going to stay up or if there’ll be a public response from Square Enix.
