Natalie Portman Pregnant with Baby No. 3 – First Child with Boyfriend Tanguy Destable

Natalie Portman is pregnant!

The Oscar winner revealed to Harper’s BAZAAR that she and French music producer Tanguy Destable are expecting their first child together.

“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she said. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

When Did Natalie Portman & Tanguy Destable Start Dating?

Portman and Destable began dating in March 2025, just one year after she finalized her divorce with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied. The “Black Swan” actress quietly filed for a divorce in 2023 after being married for 11 years, People reported. She and Millepied have two children together, Aleph, 14, and Amalia, 9. 

While talking with Harper’s BAZAAR, Portman shared how thankful she is to be pregnant again with her third child, noting how she realizes this will likely be her last pregnancy.

“There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp,” the 44-year-old shared. “And there’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”

When it comes to how her body is managing her pregnancy, the “No Strings Attached” star explained that she is shocked by how much energy she has. “I have more energy than I thought I might,” she said, adding that she’s swimming to “keep strong.” Portman also shared that she’s been spending a lot of time with her two older children, noting that it “is always the best” when they’re together.

Portman, who grew up in a home with an IVF specialist as a mom, also opened up about how “lucky” she is to be able to carry a child after witnessing and hearing so many stories from fellow moms. 

“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” she shared. “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing. And so I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”

Natalie Portman Living in Paris Amid Third Pregnancy

Portman has been based in Paris, France, for several years, according to Harper’s BAZAAR. The Hollywood starlet joked with the outlet about a French wives’ tale that says women remain pregnant for 41 weeks rather than 40.

“In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks rather than 40, so I guess I get an extra week to be pregnant this time around,” she quipped.

As she enjoys her time being pregnant, the “Thor: Love & Thunder’ actress added that the weather in Paris has been incredible this time of year.

“There’s been beautiful spring weather, so it’s been pretty amazing to just walk in the incredible parks here and go see art,” she said of Paris. “Just the usual things you do when you’re not working!”
