Yes, everyone’s favourite streaming service will soon be adding all 371 episodes of arguably the best zombie TV show ever: The Walking Dead.
But wait, there’s more to this delicious deal. Netflix will also be getting six spin-off series that make up The Walking Dead Universe.
That includes The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Tales Of The Walking Dead.
That’s a lot of zombies.

All of these series will be streaming exclusively on Netflix from next year after the streamer inked a deal with AMC Global Media to secure global rights to the grisly franchise.
Netflix has been the exclusive streaming home of The Walking Dead in the US since 2011, but the new deal will extend the show’s availability on Netflix to new territories, including the UK, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.
‘Audiences have discovered and loved The Walking Dead on Netflix for nearly 15 years, and the show continues to attract new fans,’ said Netflix’s vice president of licensing Lori Conkling.
‘We’re excited to partner with AMC Global Media to continue to expand that access to more audiences around the world and bring the entirety of The Walking Dead Universe to Netflix.’
Based on the comic book of the same name, created by Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore,The Walking Dead follows a group of survivors trying to find safety in what remains of the USA after the outbreak of a zombie plague.
Led by former sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes ( Andrew Lincoln), however, the group quickly realise that as dangerous as the cannibalistic ‘Walkers’ are, the real threat is their fellow survivors.
The series, which ran for 11 seasons from 2011 to 2022, boasted an all-star cast which at different times included Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
