Nicole Kidman has been serving some fierce looks recently.

From rocking a satin LBD at Paris Fashion Week to getting ‘arrested’ by Sabrina Carpenter in a Pam Anderson-style fitted red top, the 58-year-old knows how to dress.

And, alongside her fellow actor and pal Sandra Bullock, Nicole has put on another stunning fashion display, this time in a sheer black dress on the Las Vegas CinemaCon red carpet.

The Academy Award winner looked fresh-faced and full of smiles as she posed for the press — almost seven months on since her split from her husband of 18 years, musician Keith Urban.

At the event, Nicole looked elegant as ever in the slip dress, which consisted of a (modest) plunging V-neckline, ruffles around the bust and hips, short sleeves, and a sheer skirt with more ruffles at the hem, which showed off her athletic pins.

Nicole wore her signature blonde locks down and in messy waves, with wispy curtain bangs that framed her face.

In terms of makeup, the Scarpetta star kept things simple with a subtle smoky eye, perfectly sculpted brows, a touch of blush, and glossy nude lips.

Sandra looked just as show-stopping, contrasting with Nicole in a statement tomato-red suit with an oversized blazer and high-waisted flared trousers. The 61-year-old left the jacket open to reveal a sultry black leather bra.

She also wore her classic brunette tresses down and wavy in a middle parting, while opting for a similar makeup look to Nicole.

Many movie fans will know the reason behind Nicole and Sandra’s joint appearance. During the event, the pair took to the stage to share a sneak peek of their upcoming — and highly-anticipated film — Practical Magic 2.

The duo starred in the original 1998 fantasy romance movie, Practical Magic, where they played sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who were descendants of a long line of witches.

The movie, which featured a Stevie Nicks-heavy soundtrack, has become a cult classic among millennial and Gen Z fans, and admirers of the ‘whimsigoth’ aesthetic.

So, when it was revealed that a sequel was in the works, people went wild.

Speaking at the CinemaCon event, Nicole said that fans can expect ‘midnight margaritas (the iconic, festive cocktail scene), jumping off the roof and also have our past catching up with us’.

‘We have our destinies, and the family. I think it’s going to be really, really fun.’

Sandra added that returning for the sequel ‘felt like we came back to a home that we once lived in,’ while Nicole echoed: ‘Home is what this is.’

She added: ‘And getting to return to these characters that have been so loved and so shared, it really has been magical. And being back together, it just clicked.’

As for Nicole’s life off-screen, the mum of four (she shares daughter and son Isabella and Connor with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, and daughters Sunday and Faith with Keith Urban) has been living the single life since September.

Nicole and Keith shocked fans when they announced their divorce after almost 20 years of marriage in September 2025, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’

It was later revealed that, despite Nicole filing, Keith sought the separation.

It was reported that the actor was taking care of their daughters and ‘holding the family together’ through the ‘difficult time.’

Following Nicole’s split from Top Gun star Cruise in 2001, she first met Keith at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles in January 2005, an event that celebrates Australians in Hollywood.

The pair got engaged just over a year later in May 2006, before tying the knot a month later at St. Patrick’s Estate in Sydney.

The star-studded event was attended by their closest family and friends, including famous faces such as Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, and Naomi Watts.
