Nikki Glaser Reveals What Leonardo DiCaprio Sent After Golden Globes Roast

Nikki Glaser Leonardo DiCaprio

Nikki Glaser is sharing the hilarious way Leonardo DiCaprio responded after she roasted him at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards and honestly, it may be one of the best celebrity thank-you gifts ever.

During an April 21 appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Glaser revealed that after poking fun at DiCaprio during her Golden Globes opening monologue, the Oscar winner sent her not flowers, not wine, but three baskets of pasta.

Yes, pasta.

Glaser explained that after every awards show roast, she makes it a point to send flowers to every celebrity she jokes about as a thank-you for being a good sport.

“After I do it, I always send flowers to everyone that I made fun of that was a good sport about it,” she said. “Just to say thank you because it is a part of why I’m successful at it.”

She added that DiCaprio was the only one who sent something back.

“And then he sent me three baskets of pasta as a thank you,” she said. “So funny. So good.”

The gift was a direct callback to one of her jokes from the January ceremony, where she roasted DiCaprio for being famously private and for his long-running reputation of dating younger women.

Nikki Glaser’s Golden Globes Joke Landed Perfectly

While hosting the 2026 Golden Globes for the second year in a row, Glaser opened with one of the night’s biggest laughs by turning DiCaprio’s latest film “One Battle After Another” into a playful jab.

“Leonardo DiCaprio is here for ‘one man bun after another,’” she joked, per People. “You’ve worked with every great director, you’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar, and the most impressive thing is you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30.”

DiCaprio, 51, who has most recently been linked to model Vittoria Ceretti, 27, appeared to take it in stride, smiling and looking down as the crowd reacted.

Glaser then added, “Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke, it’s cheap. I tried not to, but we don’t know anything else about you, man. There’s nothing else, open up.”

She joked that the deepest personal detail she could find about him came from a 1991 Teen Beat interview where he revealed his favorite food was “pasta, pasta and more pasta.”

That line got one of the biggest reactions of the night, especially when DiCaprio laughed, pointed at her and gave her a thumbs up from the audience.

Pasta, Dating Jokes and a Very Leo Response

Back on Fallon’s couch, Glaser admitted the pasta delivery made her wonder for a second if there was more to the gesture.

“Part of me was like, ‘Does Leo want to smash?’” she joked.

But she quickly shut that theory down with another dig.

“The type of girl he goes for, he wouldn’t send pasta to,” she said.

She doubled down with, “It was dry pasta. Spaghetti O’s, maybe, I would have been more his type. A crib full of Dunkaroos and Go-Gurt, I would have been like, ‘Oh! He’s into me.’”

Before the Globes, Glaser said she specifically wanted to avoid lazy “Leo jokes” and find something fresher, per People.

“My goal is always to try to not do what’s expected,” she said. “That’s going to be the challenge this year, is just finding anything else about him that is right for mockery, but not mockery.”

She also made it clear the jokes came from respect.

“As long as I really like these people and respect what they do, I can get away with saying something negative,” she said.

In the end, DiCaprio’s pasta delivery proved exactly that — he got the joke, played along, and somehow made dry pasta one of the funniest celebrity gifts of 2026.
