Danny Go! star Daniel Coleman shared heartbreaking news that his beloved 14-year-old son Issac has passed away after an aggressive cancer diagnosis.

The YouTuber shared a photo on Instagram with a sweet note to pay tribute to his son who passed on May, 21.

“Oh my sweet boy. There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process,” he wrote. “But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I’m also filled with tremendous pride. Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit…and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all. You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac! Remembering how loved you were and how full of life your time here was gives me great comfort.

“Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime. I’m so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.”

Coleman and his wife Mindy share two children, Isaac and 8-year-old Levi. He rose to fame on YouTube, which is channel launching in 2021 where he’s cultivated more than 4.5M subscribers. He also had a kids’ show debut on Netflix earlier this year.

“🥺💔😭 we’ve all been thinking of and praying for Issac and the family. This news is hard, and we will keep you close in our hearts. Thanks so much for sharing him with us, may he rest well, and may this next part of the journey for you be met with grace and comfort.,” YouTuber Heidi Calmus posted.

“My heart is absolutely shattered for your family. Your photos of Isaac brought our family so much joy. My daughter also has a BAHA, and that connection made her so giddy. All of our prayers and all of our love are headed your way 🩵,” one person shared.

“The bravest knight there ever was 🩷🌈,” another person wrote.

Daniel Coleman Revealed Issac’s Cancer Diagnosis In A December 2025 Instagram Post

Coleman shared the news that Issac was diagnosed with cancer in an Instagram post in December 2025.

He added that they always feared this was coming due to Fanconi anemia, which ” is a rare inherited condition that keeps your bone marrow from making blood cells and platelets,” that can lead to “blood cancer or blood disorders,” per the Cleveland Clinic.

In January, he shared an update that Issac had cancer removal surgery, which took eight hours because the cancer had “spread further than the scans indicated.”

He followed that up with a post in February, showing Issac back home after a couple of weeks in the hospital.

“The healing process has been slow, but I’m so grateful that he’s back in a comfortable space,” Coleman wrote. “On the cancer front, we’ve learned a bit more and it hasn’t been good news. He’s officially stage 3, although the docs said he’s right on the edge of stage 4 because of the speed and aggression of the spread.”
